레벨 Beginner - Advanced
In this class, students will meet to socialize as well as learn some fun things about France and the French language! This class is for students of ALL French levels: beginner, intermediate, and advanced French students can come to make friends and have fun! Each class, we will start with 5-10 minutes of group socialization. We will introduce ourselves, answer an icebreaker question, and share something about our week. Then, each week we will learn 3 new French words relating to a theme. We will use the new vocabulary to create sentences and practice our pronunciation. Then, students will have socialization time in breakout rooms. There will be two breakout room choices: an English-speaking room and a French-speaking room. I will continuously rotate between rooms to monitor students. Finally, students will learn a fun cultural fact about France or a French tongue twister! I have been learning French for 9 years now, from French 1 - French 5 as well as 4 years of immersion French classes. I am conversationally fluent and at a C1 level. I have tutored French immersion from May 2020 through August 2020 when the French immersion school near us closed for quarantine, and I've been teaching French online for two years.
I also continue to take French lessons with native speakers, and I am working towards my Bachelors in French, which includes classes in advanced French immersion, French literature, and French education. I attended a 7-week summer French immersion camp through Middlebury College.
I also have my certification in TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language), the principles from which I apply to my French classes.리뷰
