In this ongoing class young students are invited to learn French words. Each week we will be talking about a new topic. I use lots of visuals and keep the students engaged by taking turns to repeat certain words. I will also ask children to interact with each other by asking and answering questions we will practice in class. For example, if we learn to ask about our favorite color, students will ask other students what their favorite color is. I will be mostly speaking English while introducing new French words. I like to use the sandwich technique. I say the word in French, then in English, then in French again. I use lots of praise and encouragement. I also encourage respect in my classes. Everyone is learning and I mention to the children to try their best and to NEVER make fun of someone who is trying to learn. 

Week of February 9th, Week 1: we will be covering fruits
Week of February 16th, week 2: we will be covering colors
Week of February 23rd, week 3: we will be covering numbers 1 to 10
Week of March 2nd, week 4: we will be covering toys
Week of March 9th, we will be covering animals

This class is for beginners. No previous knowledge of French is necessary.
