음식 그룹 재미: 음식이 우리를 건강하게 만드는 방법 배우기

Healthy eating is fun! In this one-time class, students will be introduced to the 5 food groups. They will discuss why we need healthy foods and which foods belong in which group. 

During our class, students will learn how to make healthy choices using the Choose My Plate model. They will talk about which foods belong in each of the five food groups. This will be supported by a worksheet, in which they will cut out pictures of food and put them in the correct group.  

Students will also learn how healthy foods give them strong bones and muscles and even help them fight germs!. At the end of class if we have time, students will create their own healthy meal by choosing a food they like from each food group!

***The worksheets for this class are very important, as they include the activity that we will be working on during class, so please make sure you are able to have these printed before class starts :-)
