In this class we will cover what is multiplication, repeated addition, creating arrays, skip counting, patterns in multiplication, and memorization tricks/hints. In teaching this topic I break the multiplication table into 4 quadrants and we concentrate on one section each day. Each week we will also cover one aspect of understanding multiplication and then we will concentrate on memorizing facts.
