Building upon the groundwork laid in our preceding grammar symbol class (accessible through the provided link), this flexible course delves deeper into the exploration of the final four grammar symbols in the Montessori curriculum. The grammar symbols and parts of speech under examination are conjunctions, pronouns, prepositions, and interjections.

Each week unfolds with a meticulously crafted video lesson elucidating the nuances of the designated grammar symbol or part of speech, accompanied by a succinct comprehension quiz aimed at reinforcing comprehension.

Following the instructional video and quiz, students immerse themselves in hands-on activities. They analyze ten sentences, discerning the part of speech for each word and illustrating the corresponding grammar symbols above them. Moreover, students craft five original sentences, integrating their understanding of grammar symbols, and exhibit their creations within the classroom environment.

Harnessing the collaborative features of Nearpod, students collectively compile word lists for each grammar symbol/part of speech. For instance, during the week dedicated to prepositions, students collaboratively generate words such as "under," "over," or "on." These collaborative word lists serve as a dynamic resource for constructing sentences, further solidifying comprehension of grammar concepts in practical contexts.
