Do you want your child to be financially successful? You're in the right place. ESA note: This class is structured to accept ESA funds for participating states and families. With this class, you can unlock financial freedom and set your family on the path to entrepreneurial success. 🚀💡💸 In this dynamic course, your student will master the essentials of financial literacy and entrepreneurship, equipping them with the tools to thrive in today’s world. Through 17 high-energy video lessons, teens will learn the five key concepts of financial literacy—earning, budgeting, saving, protecting, and investing—alongside the foundational steps to creating a business plan. 📈💼 💰 Financial Literacy Topics Include: Opening a savings account 🏦 Understanding credit scores 📊 Making smart spending decisions 🛍️ Insurance basics 🛡️ Overview of taxes 💵 Introduction to investing 📉📈 ✨ Entrepreneurship Focus: Teens will dive into the world of entrepreneurship, learning how to innovate, solve problems, and develop a growth mindset that fosters resilience and financial independence. 💡 They’ll gain the skills to think creatively, adapt to challenges, and even start building their own business! 🚀 Each lesson is paired with recommended skill packets designed to reinforce learning with practical, independent exercises (and I'm always here to help). These packets offer students the chance to immediately apply their new knowledge, helping solidify key concepts. 📝✅ Whether your student is preparing to launch their own business or simply wants to become financially savvy, this course will empower them to take control of their future, guiding them toward wealth creation and entrepreneurial success! 💼🌟💵 Note on content: This class teaches economics concepts rooted in what are considered "Classical Economic Theory" which emerged from the enlightenment in Western Europe in the 1700s. Language proficiency notice: students will be discussing complex financial terms and ideas. A very strong English language proficiency is required to grasp the full understanding of the material. The pacing of the course is very intense. These ideas are broadly applicable in various regions of the globe, where individuals have access to retail and commercial banking services and market or mixed economies. While an attempt will be made to explain ideas so all students can understand, hyper local examples and command based systems fall outside these financial skills. The course has an implicit bias that wealth accumulation is societally acceptable, at least to a varying degree. Specifically, this class recognizes the ability to lend money at interest as a core concept within the financial world. It represents the importance of individuals being able to accumulate private property to pursue financial independence. Its foundational ideas are rooted in John Locke's principles of the right to hold and accumulate private property.
