I am a professional artist specializing in portraits and figure painting. I have been in this field for 10+ years.
Students should have previously taken classes or learned about basic skeletal/ musculature structures of the human body. They should have an understanding of figure drawing and artistic/ observational techniques.
Paper/ Sketchbook Pencil (can be of any choice but I will be using professional pencils with lead hardness from 4H-8B) Black pen (optional)
**Please note: we will be drawing the bone structure and muscles of humans, so students can have a basic understanding of what is happening below and above the skin. We will be drawing the male and female forms and because this class will have under-aged students we will be drawing figures in a way as to make sure that everyone feels comfortable. The images for this class will be clothed figures, ranging in states of dress, from completely clothed in jeans and hoodies, to leotards, leggings, sports bras and underwear.
