음악 읽기 패스트 패스: 레벨 4(3일 - 1주일)

Learning to read music might seem hard but this class makes it as fun as going to Walt Disney World! In this three-day course we will take a virtual field trip to Epcot where we will continue learning the basics of reading music notation. 

PRIOR KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED: 
- This class builds on concepts learned in Levels 1, 2, & 3. Completion of Fast Pass to Reading Music Levels 1, 2, & 3 OR prior knowledge of that content is required. 
- Learners should be comfortable with basic addition problems (1+1, 1+2, etc.) and letters before taking this class. 

This interactive course will involve fun games, call and response, and even some Disney trivia sprinkled throughout. Here is what you can expect:

Day One

We'll begin our first class by reviewing the treble clef staff and pitches in the Future World area of Epcot. We'll then deepen our understanding of melodic reading while exploring space, land, and sea. We'll end day one by "riding" the perfect ride to help learners understand the concept of accelerando!

Day Two

Our second day of class will begin our journey around the world in Epcot's World Showcase area. Learners will participate in a scavenger hunt around the world, learn and practice new rhythms, and "ride" an attraction at one of our global stops. 

Day Three

During our third and final day of class learners will complete our international scavenger hunt, learn more new rhythms, and be rewarded with a "sneak peak" of a brand new ride coming to Epcot!

- Syncopation 
- Eighth Rests
- Triplets
- Dotted Quarter Notes
- Eighth/Sixteenth Note Combinations
- Scale
- Ledger Lines
- Sharps & Flats
- Accelerando/Ritardando
- Meter


BONUS MATERIAL: After completing Day 3 of the class, learners will receive a new Practice Guide packet to help them practice and remember what they learned. This Practice Guide is meant to serve as a supplement (not homework!) and includes answer keys to check for understanding.
