In this in fun and FAN-tastic six week flex class learners will be guided through the process of creating digital drawings inspired by their favourite fandoms. Sharon's educational studies include art with a focus on interpretive and sequential illustration from which she graduated in 2002. Sharon went on to study creative writing as well as pursue continued learning in storyboard art and has earned certificates in character and world design as well as art history. Sharon has worked as an in house graphic designer, worked in sculpture fabrication, freelance illustration and portrait work; she has participated in many art shows and competitions across North America and her work can be found in private collections and galleries in Canada, the US, and Mexico. Sharon has illustrated three published children’s books, as well as a few that never made it to print.
Learners in this class will need to have a working copy of photoshop, a drawing tablet, a good internet connection, a sketchbook, pencils, and the ability to photograph their sketches using a digital camera or mobile device.
