Students will be taught how to use various painting techniques to make fun fall art. Students will make orange pumpkins and learn how to give a shadow and show where light is on the painting to make it look more realistic. Students will make colorful fall leaves with a step by step guide showing details. Students will learn to draw some trees with colorful fall leaves. Students will learn painting techniques and how to mix colors. Also students will learn art basics like primary colors, warm and cool colors, shades, and tints. Students will learn the different terms of a paintbrush and how to care for paintbrushes.
I have a bachelor's degree in fine arts with a concentration in painting. I have many years experience teaching children ages 6-18.
Students will need: -Acrylic paint -Paper towels -Paint Brushes- large and small -Water in a cup -Pallet - or paper plate, pallet paper, or tin foil that can be used as a pallet -Canvas or Thick Paper that can withstand paint - 8 1/2" x 11 " or similar size.
