This class will focus on the F4U Corsair fighter aircraft that dominated the Pacific theater in WWII. This class will instruct the student about the multi-role F4U fighter and focus on the different variants, how the aircraft was used in combat, and other vital information about the aircraft. The focus will be on both scientific and historic facts about this WWII fighter that was also used in the Korean War as well. There will be an attached note-taking document with pictures to help the student learn and retain the information in this course. There is also an informational video about the F4U aircraft and how it was used. The desire of the teacher is to engage the students with questions and dialogue to help them further learn the material and answer questions. There will be no assigned homework in this class and the teaching style will be lecture via power point material with a few questions asked of the students.
