 •Objective: Discover the variety of colors in nature.
•Activity: Nature walk to collect leaves, flowers, and rocks. Back in the classroom, sort the finds by color and create a large collage on paper showcasing the spectrum found in nature.
•Materials: Glue, large paper sheets, collected natural items.
•Discussion: Talk about where each item might have come from and why plants have different colors. 

 •Objective: Explore and compare textures found in nature.
•Activity: Texture scavenger hunt. Provide children with texture cards (smooth, rough, bumpy, etc.). Use these to find matching textures in the outdoor area. Use crayons and paper for bark rubbings or leaf rubbings to capture textures.
•Materials: Texture cards, crayons, paper.
•Discussion: Discuss how different textures are felt and why some trees or leaves might be smoother or rougher than others. 

 •Objective: Identify shapes and patterns in natural objects.
•Activity: Nature shapes hunt. Collect various items, then use them to create art by stamping paint on paper to reveal their shapes or patterns. Alternatively, create patterned bracelets with string and found items (leaves, small sticks).
•Materials: Paint, paper, natural items, strings for bracelets.
•Discussion: Talk about the symmetry in leaves or the spirals in pinecones and how nature uses shapes. 

 •Objective: Understand how nature changes with seasons.
•Activity: Seasonal art project. Choose the current or an approaching season and create an art project that represents it, such as cotton ball snow on construction paper trees for winter or tissue paper flowers for spring.
•Materials: Season-appropriate art materials (cotton balls, tissue paper, construction paper, etc.).
•Discussion: Reflect on how the environment looks during different seasons and what changes occur.
