This is an 8 week, ESL English discussion course. Students will take turns using their conversational English skills in class. This class is for intermediate level ESL students.

Week 2: Jobs (Occupations)

Week 3: A Special Place to Travel

Week 4: Learning new things

Week 5: My Favourite Food

Week 6: Weather Patterns

Week 7: Working out 

Week 8: We will decide this one together! 

Before every lesson, I will send the students a photo with key describing words. The photo will be relevant to our topic. I will expect them to be able to describe the photo using some or all of the words given. An example may be a person relaxing on a dock. Key words would be; dock, wooden, relaxed, phone, sea, checkered. I will also give the students a topic of discussion for the class. Topics will include; Hobbies, Jobs, Travel, Food, Weather, and many more. The topics will change every week. Students are encouraged to think of their own topics as well.  Every student will be given an opportunity to speak freely. I will gently correct the structure of responses, as well as grammar and pronunciation in a fun, relaxed way. This is a fun opportunity for students to practice their English skills in a comfortable, easy going environment. I understand each student will have their own ability and level, and I will adapt to each one individually. Let's make some friends and improve our casual English conversational skills! There will be no violent or inappropriate conversations allowed.
