What's your favorite NBA team? Join me as we examine an NBA team. We will read and discuss an NBA team's history, dive into some of the positions and players, analyze the quarterback position, and thoroughly chat about some our favorite football teams, all with an emphasis on the English language, pronunciation, and comprehension. In doing so, they will learn and practice conversational skills. - Comprehension and Analysis: Students will be presented with different angles of an NBA team and be able to express their analysis of the team. - Critical Thinking: Students will respond to comprehension questions relevant to the NBA.
I have played, coached, and now analyzed sports for the past 20 years. As a coach I was able to coach every position and team at the High School Varsity level. I also had extensive practice with breaking down team and opponent scouting film. This led to my current position where I work for a football analytics company where I analyze and input data of different soccer teams and football teams in the NFL and NCAA. I also have taught English for close to 10 years in the USA, South Korea, France, Italy, and remotely.
