As this is a class involving the history of the Titanic, there may be mention or images of death, murder, supernatural beliefs, racism, gender, war, abuse, disease, religion, and other topics or visuals that may be sensitive to some learners. All topics will be taught in an age appropriate manner, in a History context. Historical information presented and students will be encouraged to interpret their own conclusions. Views presented in any primary sources are not my own, rather they are first hand accounts and based on the perspective of the author. Resources used to create context for this historical adventure are listed below and may be periodically updated; therefore parents are urged to save this page and revisit. As this is a game-based class, students should have some tolerance for healthy competition, and good sportsmanship is expected. For this course, students may occasionally use the following tools, and they will be used as follows: -Nearpod: Used for slides, Virtual fieldtrips & student interaction activities (no student account necessary. Students are provided a code to join OR resource may simply be used on screen as part of instruction without requiring students to access it) 👉Depending on Learner ability and the amount of participants, this class may longer or shorter.
