In this course, students will learn what matrices are. They will also learn how to describe and interpret matrixes. Matrix arithmetic (addition, subtraction, and multiplication) will be taught and practiced in this session. We will also cover special matrices, such as transpose, inverse, and identity matrices. I have graduated in Electrical Engineering with a minor in mathematics. In many of our engineering courses, we had to use matrices to find voltages. Also, we learned how CPUs and GPUs used matrices to perform faster parallelized computation.
The students should know basic algebra.
