Hello!  I'm so excited to help your learner in English Language Arts.  I have a high school daughter that I've homeschooled since Kindergarten.  My first year teaching, I taught Preschool.  I absolutely love that age.  After that, I taught online and still do, teaching English and Math with a focus on English.  I have been doing that for over 8 years now.  I also recently began teaching in the classroom again and teach a multigrade classroom of grades 5-8.  It's so fun.  I like to incorporate many different learning methods to meet the needs of each individual student.  Outside of the classroom, I enjoy hiking with my daughter and our fur babies.  We have 3 dogs.  Callie and Chloe are our 5 year old Chiweenies.  Charli is our youngest, but largest, baby and she is a 2 year old American Staffordshire.  I enjoy growing plants.  I can never have enough plants.  I like doing yoga  and pilates.  When I'm not in the classroom or with my daughter and dogs, you can find me reading a book.  I love to read.  I also enjoy watching all kinds of movies, going to restaurants with my daughter, and spending time with family and friends.
