This class has no end date! We will cover a new topic each month, but no lesson is ever repeated. Instead, I find new and fun ways to teach familiar topics and add new ones as needed. This keeps things fresh, engaging, and enjoyable, so your learner can stay in the class FOREVER! 😊

When should you start?
My suggestion is NOW, or whenever you're ready! There's no "behind" or "lost" in this class. 

If you're looking for an engaging, fun class that builds your learner’s confidence to monitor and manage their thoughts, words, and actions, this is it! In this fun and active class, students will use positive words and movements to build confidence and feel strong! This class includes a special practice that helps us think in a way that makes us feel better and face challenges with courage. We'll learn to worry less, take action, and let go of negative thoughts. Students will also practice mindfulness strategies like deep breathing and being present, which will help them calm their bodies and manage their emotions. Through this practice, called beSati, students will discover how their thoughts and words affect how they feel and act. Together, we'll learn how to turn off negative thoughts, choose more positive ones, and develop healthy habits to stay calm and focused!

Here’s how the class is structured:
🚀 The First Few Minutes:
Each student takes a turn sharing. The students will be allowed to share something they're proud of, excited about, or struggling with as it pertains to social emotional learning and any reflection on the previous topic covered.

🌱 Let’s Learn Something New:
Each month, we discuss a new topic related to social-emotional learning. I introduce the topic with a book and/or fun slides and relatable situations. After the instruction, students get to reflect on the topic and set an intention for applying it while we use movements and affirmations to solidify our learning and generate positive energy within ourselves. Each class will end with a mindfulness practice to seal in our energy and set an intention to apply what we learned.

We will meet twice a month and stick with the same topic for both classes. While the movements and affirmations will stay the same for the month, the story and lesson for each meeting will address the topic in a different way. 

At the start of each week that we have class, I post a class message to give you a preview of what your learner will be discussing.
