This one- tume course is a private tutoring course. I will work with you and your elementary student to develop a tutoring plan to fit your needs. Areas of tutoring can include:
- Math
- Science
- Social Studies
- Reading
- Writing
If you would like more than one topic to be covered (such as half of the time reading and half of the time math) that can be arranged as well. This one- time option is for students needing a quick refresher in something as opposed to ongoing help. If you would like consistent, ongoing tutoring, please check out my ongoing class!
The tutoring sessions will begin with a quick 5 minute intro of the concept needing strengthening, followed by hands- on work related to the subject area, finished with a quick 5 minute closing activity. Examples of hands- on work can include: working with manipulatives for math, using highlighters and sticky notes for analyzing and annotating texts, following the Scientific Method to create ongoing science experiments, utilizing maps and globes for social studies, and more. 
Teaching will be catered to your child due to the personalized nature of the course and after the course you will receive written feedback on what we worked on, what your child still needs support in, and what your child has successfully mastered. 
Please note that due to the customization of the class, you may request a specific day and time for your tutoring to be held. Simply send me a message so we can work out a time! If your child is needing tutoring in a different grade level, please send me a private message so we can determine if I am the right fit for you :)
ps We can make multiple sections of this class if you would like this to be more than one time but the ongoing option does not fit your needs.
