Students will begin by introducing themselves and sharing something special. What do you know about Cinderella? What is a fairytale? Poor Rhodopis has nothing- no mother, no father, and no friends. She is a slave,from the far-off country of Greece. What happens when the Pharaoh finds her? After the story, students will complete a venn diagram to compare/contrast Rhodopis and Cinderella. Next, students will draw a picture of the story and write what they liked about the story. Last, students will share their picture and writing.
