I have a Master Degree in Early Childhood/Primary Education and a Bachelor Degree in Child Development, active in the field for several decades.  I am also a National Geographic Certified Educator,and certified to teach the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Program (IB PYP). Also, I am TESOL certified, teaching English as a Second Language. I am the Founder of EcoKid International and Connecting Children to Art in Nature; educational businesses that offer children and families services to connect to nature in artful and eco-friendly formats and perspectives.  I create educational design and currciulum for youth and families for botanical gardens, children's schools,private and public settings, nature centers, as well as lecture in universities and colleges presenting professional development workshops for educators. My class offerings on Outschool are inspired by various pedagogies such as the Reggio-Emilia and Waldorf practices and place-based, best practices in environmental education.
