I have played Dungeons and Dragons since I was in high school back in the 80's. Last year I became a professional game master and I have over 100 positive reviews on StartPlaying.games. I have also been a high school science teacher for 13 years.

AboveVTT is a google extension that allows students to see maps and roll dice as if we were at a real table. If they have a DnD Beyond account the AboveVTT will integrate with that account to allow them to move tokens and roll dice directly from their character sheet. A DnD Beyond account is encouraged but not necessary. Students without a Dnd Beyond Account will print out a character sheet and will then access maps from the screen share on Zoom. Dungeons and Dragons is a fantasy game that includes monsters and cartoon fantasy violence.
