Students will be taught how to make connections between fashion and mathematics, using the game to practice essential math operations. We will cover adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing, percentages, and fractions We will begin each lesson by greeting each other and going over the rules of the game. After we know the rules, I will explain the point values and mathematical operations the students need to do while making their outfit on Dress to Impress. Each type of clothing costs a certain price, and they will have to keep track of their spending in order to stay in the competition. My teaching style is to create an environment where the students are having so much fun they hardly notice they are also doing math. I like to be very encouraging and positive and all of my classes in order to reduce math anxiety and make it seem fun. Each week we will be playing math while practice i g mathematical operations. Adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing, percentages, fractions , etc
