This class is not just about drawing; it sparks friendship, creativity, and fun. Here’s what makes our class a unique adventure:

🤗 Warm and Welcoming Start: 

Each weekly meeting kicks off with a chance for students to share exciting updates from their week. Some share artwork, a favorite plushie, a new LEGO build, or a pet. It's a perfect way to build connections and develop new friendship skills.

 ✏️ Step-by-Step Guidance: 

Ms. Jes leads young artists through an easy-to-follow step-by-step directed drawing process. Your child will learn to break down favorite characters into simple shapes and lines, making it easy to recreate them in their own style. Artists are encouraged to add backgrounds or keep the drawings simple and just add color - all creative choices are celebrated in our class!

 🎨 Mario Wonder offers Variety: 

The Mario Wonder characters in this class have a range of difficulty, with some being shorter and simpler drawings, and others a bit longer and more complex. I will always give a recommendation at the start of class to use either pencil or marker, based on the complexity of the drawing that week. When a drawing is completed before the end of class time, students are encouraged to add more details to their artwork. Students are welcome bring their drawings to life using any coloring tool they prefer. Crayons, pastels, or markers - the sky's the limit! 

 🗓️ Class Schedule:

Each week introduces a new character to explore, ensuring that students continually grow their skills and creative expression. Learners are able to join at any point, as each meeting stands alone. The characters are always taught in the same order every time the class is taught, so there is always the option to join the next section to complete the full set - no matter when you start!
