Welcome to 'Let's Draw the Taj Mahal'.  This drawing was a student favorite from my ongoing architecture drawing class.

In this one-time class, learners will create a sketch of the famous landmark, the beautiful Taj Mahal.  Artists only need to bring a pencil, ruler and a piece of paper to class!  Artists will be led through an easy to follow, step-by-step drawing.  We will concentrate on lines and shapes at first, and then add a few surrounding details.  To ensure that everyone is keeping up with the drawing, I will switch the zoom setting to 'gallery view' and ask for a thumbs up (or down) from each learner.  I do this several times throughout the lesson, but not after every single drawing step.  

Beginners are welcome. Please note: The pace of the class moves at a medium speed.  If anyone is having difficulty, I'm very happy to help with any problems that might come up along the way.  I also offer tips for shading, although shading is optional and usually done after the class time.  Class discussions will be focused on interesting facts about the Taj Mahal. My goal is to help each artist create a great outline of the Taj Mahal.  If the class is full (or nearly full), I will sometimes extend the class time an additional 5 minutes ,if necessary, to ensure that everyone has a chance to ask questions and share their artworks with the class.

🔸This class will not exceed 6 learners.

🔸Due to the pace of the class, I do not recommend this class for learners younger than 11 years of age.  Please send me a message if you have any questions.  I will occasionally make age exceptions depending on the ability level of the learner.

🔸I prefer cameras to be on, but this is a camera-off friendly class.  Please check in with me and the beginning of class, and then it is okay to turn off your video.  I ask that you still use the 'thumbs up' icon and/or ask questions when necessary. If you do not have a working camera and have not completed Outschool's learner verification process, you will not be allowed to remain in the online classroom per Outschool policy.

🔸Please try your best to be on time.  We start our drawings right away.  It can be difficult to catch up on a drawing if you arrive late to class.  You may need to watch the playback recording after class if you arrive late.  The playback recordings are automatically posted in the classroom and are viewable for 'verified learners' shortly after the class is finished.

🔸I will not cancel the class due to low enrollment.
