Fans of "Wings of Fire Dragons” will have fun learning to draw and watercolor paint. Each watercolor painting lesson will offer new techniques to help you draw and paint different dragons from the Wings of Fire Series.
The following is the subject art lesson that will be covered each week and an "Increase Your Knowledge" activity.
~ If painting is not your thing, digital, markers, or colored pencils are welcome!

This is not a course for written grades, but I do give feedback when asked by the students in class. I stay positive while also offering constructive advice on how they could take their project to the next level. In every lesson, I teach and encourage every artist to make the art their very own. So I encourage them to add some extras, draw and paint in their style, and let them know their artwork does not have to look like mine! My feedback is only ever positive and encouraging! Students will leave my class feeling empowered, and encouraged and I am sure they will be eager to watercolor paint more! Learners will interact with each other and the teacher through the classroom page via chat messaging, discussions about the lesson, posting a photo of their artwork, answering the key question for the lesson that week and student collaborative artboard. I will provide encouragement and positive feedback on their artwork and guide the students in classroom discussion topics. The artwork deadlines will be the following week- the day before the next lesson is uploaded to the classroom wall.제공되는 성적

Watercolor Painting Class Supplies: See the colors in the class pictures that we will use. - Paper - "watercolor paper" 9 x 12 (Note this is special paper. Regular paper will tear and a canvas will not absorb) - Pencil and eraser - 2 qty - Jars of water - Paper towels or napkins - Paintbrushes - Round or flat tip - Paint tray for watercolor mixing - Paint - watercolor paints (see the picture for colors needed for each character) *Note that you will need to purchase a special paper labeled specifically as "Watercolor Paper" and "Watercolor Paints". **Artists are welcome to use markers or colored pencils if watercolor paints are not their thing!

A link along with an access code will be provided in the Outschool classroom related to each week's flex lesson. The access code I provide will take them directly to lessons. Some other websites will be used as a knowledge base in addition to my watercolor painting instruction. These websites will be just one part of the interactive material accessed thru Nearpod: ~ "Wings of Fire Fandom wiki website”: Explore the background history of Tsunami. ~ "Art with Albright" website: Learn how to make your color wheel. ~ "The Kids Should See This" website: See how paint brushes are made. ~ "Schmincke Factory” channel YouTube: See how watercolor paints are made.
