Are you interested in learning how to sketch dragons in different poses, with realistic proportions? In this class you will learn head size and shape sizes in relationship to the dragon character within the composition. We will practice dragon modeling, proportions, practice drawing from action lines and use gesture drawing to create more realistic anatomical dragon drawings. Students will engage in guided drawing lessons with the teacher to practice intermediate drawing techniques. These...

We will practice drawing proportionate dragon figures in still and action poses, use of line and value. The student will learn to look at proportion and measure parts in relationship to other parts of the drawing. Composition will be taught as well as gesture and modeling.
Instructor has her Masters Degree in Art from the University of Oregon and an Elementary Ed. Certification.
