드래곤 스커틀클로를 길들이는 법 그리기 ~ 단계별 쉽고 재미있는 수업

In this Dragon Drawing class, your artist will learn how to draw a dragon from the series How to Train Your Dragon using graphite pencils.
During this class, I will take your student step by step in creating this beloved Scuttleclaw Dragon. We love to draw these fascinating creatures and talk about their uniqueness! Every dragon class is all-inclusive. From building the shape of the dragon to adding the details, depth, shading, and texture!  Drawing dragons is a great way for your artist to draw what they love by learning the proper terms and techniques! 
Drawing is something you can practice continually and still find room for improvement. If you’re looking to sharpen your skills, there are three areas you can focus on. The first is the construction or building of your subject; making construction sketches lightly on the page is an essential habit that saves time and produces consistency when drawing the same object in different poses. Another area is simplification, or breaking things down into their most basic elements. Finally, focus on expressing volume and weight through highlights and shadows. Of course, it takes time and hard work to improve your drawing, but following these tips will help get you there!  Your artist will build confidence!  
~Your artist will learn how to break down the dragon into simple shapes build the character and then add the details. Foreshortening, shape, proportion, texture, and shading will be discussed in each session. 

~Artists can follow step by step and ask questions. I will give feedback on the student's progress and suggestions to improve their artistic skills. Artists are encouraged to hold their art up to the camera multiple times each class if they want help or encouragement, although this is optional. Artists are also welcome to ask for help during class at any point, so they never have to worry about getting stuck. 

~As always in any of my classes, I encourage artists to create in their style or follow along with me as we create dragons and hybrids. I will do a different dragon and take requests each week for a variety of dragons.

~Paper, a pencil, and an eraser are all you need. For the supplies I will use for each lesson please see the supplies needed. Digital drawing, colored pencils, or markers are always welcome in class! I encourage every artist to use what works best for them.

~ IMPORTANT~ Be on time for class! 
This is a step-by-step lesson and you need to be on time. If your artist is late for any reason I will let them in class and they can participate where we are in the drawing. I will offer your artist the option of doing the complete lesson on the recording after class has finished and the lesson has been uploaded to the cloud.

Supplies:
Smooth white paper 8 1/2 x 11
Pencils HB
Erasers 
Blending Stump or Q-tip

*All class times are approximate. Class length varies based on student ability and the number of enrolled learners. Classes are designed so that they will not run longer than the time allotted.*

*Please note:  This is an art class, and I can only give feedback and proper instruction if your child has their camera on and communicates with me, this allows me to see how students are progressing, and make sure no one falls behind. 

*According to Outschool policy, all students need to be registered separately. If they are not, they are to be placed in the waiting room until the parent can make arrangements to register the extra learners or the teacher may refund them.  We understand the desire for friends or siblings to watch, but if two children participate under one registration, they will be sent back to the waiting room per Outschool policy. One child per registration. It is acceptable for registered learners to share a screen!
