This class will begin when Takhisis the Dragon Queen has returned to the world of Krynn. Across the land, her armies of fanatical draconians wage a brutal war of conquest. As the Dragon Armies march on the unprepared nation of Solamnia, only the defenders of the city of Kalaman stand in their way. But the Dragon Armies want more than just to crush their foes. An ancient evil in the Dragon Queen’s service seeks a magical weapon that could dominate Krynn for all time. But....it will not end...
Students will learn the rich history of the Dragonlance setting. Students will work cooperatively to solve difficult problems presented by challenging scenarios. Students will use their critical thinking to unlock puzzles, unveil mysteries, and seek answers to "wicked" problems.
I am an avid D&D player/DM who has used the Dragonlance game concept before Wizards of the Coast was around.....as old as some of the dragons in the World of Krynn.

This class follows the Pillars of Adventure: exploration, social interaction, and fantasy combat. All situations will be age appropriate and will not involve any excessive depictions of violence beyond that which is part of the basic nature of a role-playing game. Roll20 is a Virtual Table Top (VTT) which allows me as Game Master/Dungeon Master to create a world for the students, the (Player Characters/PCs) to interact with each other and for the PCs to interact with me as the Non-Playing Characters in the various scenarios in the Roman Empire setting I have developed for this class. We use only Zoom and the camera/audio features should be turned off (and must because of audio feedback). Our game is a private game thus no one else is invited to our Gladiator game for that section of students.
