Dot art allows us to create stunning visually complex images with relatively simple  techniques. No experience necessary I will walk learners though the process step by step and at the end students will be given the opportunity to (if they choose) make the piece their own by adding their own creative flair. Dot art is creative and fun! 

Supplies required
Card stock paper or a canvas approx 8 x 10 preferably in a dark colour (black is best)
Acrylic paint (purple, dark blue, light blue, green, yellow, orange, red, and white) premixed ready to use paint is ideal if you are using tube acrylics it will need to be thinned before beginning. Paint should not be runny or clumpy. Consistency is important. 
Paint tray -  (flat plastic lids work well too)
Ruler
Pencil
Masking tape
Toothpicks 
Dot tools - if you have dotting tools great, if you don’t, not to worry there are lots of things we can use in substitution. You will get more info about that upon registration. 

PLEASE ENSURE KIDS HAVE ALL REQUIRED MATERIALS AT THE START OF CLASS.

No need to dish paint out before the start of class to keep it from drying out we will dole out as needed. If you need to mix paint go ahead and do so but cover to keep from drying out.
