수업 경험
In this class, students will learn how to create patterns and flower doodles. After learning the basics for each theme, we will apply our skills to a Zen doodle and flower wreath. This is an easygoing class with no experience required! Students will be interacting through weekly icebreaker questions, class posts on the assigned drawing themes, and giving feedback on other students’ work. This is a FLEX class. Students will learn how to use lines and simple shapes to create simple drawings and patterns. Students will also learn about their drawing style as they create patterns and doodles according to their interpretation of the weekly drawing prompt. Students will also gain exposure to some art and design terms ("motif," "abstract," "value", etc.) I graduated with a Bachelor’s in Art with an emphasis in Graphic Design. In my work as a designer, I use sketches and do a lot of doodling when creating concepts and logos for different designs. I also enjoy doodling and creating in my sketchbook even when I’m not doing official design work.
Required: Paper, Sakura Pigma Micron brand pens in black (01, 03, and 05 point sizes), pencil and eraser. If you don't have access to these pens, a medium and fine point size ballpoint pen will also work. Optional: Sketchbook and markers/colored pencils if you want to color in your sketches.
Students have the option to review the art and design terms on our vocabulary sheet through a Kahoot quiz provided on Week 1. No account necessary, a direct link to the quiz will be provided. I will also embed my tutorials (made by me) via Youtube.
I will post reference material photos of assignments, patterns and doodles.
I am a certified in TESOL and TEFL and have taught ESL for 5+ years. I have taught traditional curriculum for ages 3-16 (consisting of reading, vocabulary, speaking, math, etc,) but I have also taught free conversation and storytelling classes....
