As a former teacher and elementary school librarian, there is nothing better than a student excited about reading. I believe finding the right book is crucial for developing life long readers. Cultivating children's interest in characters and topics, helps them find books that are appealing to them and hooks them into reading. I know Dogman books were always flying off the shelves and kids love this series! I can't wait to share about Dogman's newest adventure, Mothering Heights.
 In this class, your child will be able to enjoy the newest book while at the same time practice essential reading skills such as making connections, retelling, and predicting all while engaging with others!  
I truly love to share my passion for reading with others and help foster that love of reading in children! This is a great opportunity for your child to work on oral language and public (virtual) speaking skills on a topic which is of high interest to them and those in the class! You'll find with any of my classes, I love to create a fun and positive environment for learning and sharing and my enthusiastic personality always shines through!
