🎯 Designed as a continuation of Multiplication Boot Camp, this super-fun, interactive 3-day class will teach your learner amazing tricks to quickly solve and memorize division facts 1-12 & beyond... and have FUN doing it!

🎯This class will teach students quick mental math methods to solve any division fact problem. We go "beyond" the standard Multiplication/Division Table by learning that we can apply the same methods to some BIG problems (like 124÷4=31) as we do to smaller problems (like 48÷4=12). Students will learn to generate answers to problems like these mentally - without paper, without a pencil, and without a calculator! The thrill of this class is that every day, the students sign out and TEACH siblings, parents, grandparents, and teachers what they have learned. This class builds confidence for students and sparks an excitement in math!

📆 Class Schedule:
Day 1: Introduction & Pep Talk, Division Fact Families 0, 1, 2, 4, & 8.
Day 2: Multiplication Tricks for Fact Families: 5, 9, 10, & 11.
Day 3: Multiplication Tricks for Fact Families:  3, 6, 7, & 12.

📚 In class, students are expected to pay attention and participate by interacting on Zoom chat, and conversing verbally by reading slides and answering questions, if they choose to!

🚨🚨🚨 Prerequisites/Class Requirements:
🧠 Students must know how to add and subtract 1, 2, and 3 digit numbers on paper (or mentally), using any method. Examples: 7+8=?, 28+28=?, 58+29=?, 198+18=?, 150-15=?, 189-21=?
🧠 Students must have the printouts handy during class & know how to read English to understand them. (8 printouts will be posted to the virtual classroom with the Welcome message on Day 1. The printouts will remain on the virtual classroom to print at any time.)
🧠 Students must be between 7-12 years old to attend the live Division Facts for Life. **No age exceptions are granted for live classes, because of my teaching style, the pace the material is presented, and the value I place on each student (including classmates) having the best experience possible.**

➡️ Please consider the awesome alternative to the live class: The Flexible Schedule Division Facts for Life is available for ages 6-16.  This class contains EIGHT 45-minute recorded lessons, including ALL of the content from the live class, PLUS: 2 practice problem sessions and a great Introduction to Long Division. The class videos/content are posted Mondays and Thursdays over a 4-week period. Students can work through the material at their own pace/schedule, as the videos are available to the learners long after the class ends. My teaching style is very high energy - I bring every ounce of myself to my classes. I aim to engage and connect with each student and improve their math confidence! I like to simplify concepts and do so with over-the-top excitement and encouragement.

🎓 Ms. Tracy's Qualifications
I have a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Penn State (2000) and a Middle School Math teaching certificate from Shenandoah University. I worked as an engineer for 7 years and then decided to become a teacher after I had my children.  Teaching has always been my passion/calling, and I am so very fortunate to have found Outschool! This platform allows me to meet and teach so many amazing and interesting students every day!
