****Students will use Nearpod for this class, an interactive program that will keep your travelers engaged. Once enrolled, I will send a document that explains how your traveler can easily use Nearpod with Zoom on one or two devices.****

Are you ready to experience la dolce vita? Put on your princess dress or your Mickey ears, and let’s travel together to Italy to visit Luca, Pinocchio, and their friends!
On this trip, we will learn where Italy is, draw the flag, learn a few words in Italian, and watch a video to hear the language. We will visit Rome and Venice by decorating a carnival mask and exploring a canal in Venice and going inside the Colosseum in Rome. We will also learn about some typical food such as pizza and pasta. At the end of every trip, we do a quick review to test the knowledge we have learned together in Italy. We will learn through a variety of ways such as coloring, pictures, reading, slides, virtual reality, and more! Make sure you have your passports ready! I can’t wait to see your travelers in Italy soon!
