수업 소개
In this creative, four part class we are going to design and then create a useable board game out of craft materials, inspired by Pokémon, the lovable pocket monsters! Creative Pokémon fans will enjoy this class! Week 1: We will have introductions and talk about our favorite Pokémon, and our favorite board games. I will share some ideas and examples and we will start designing our games using a template (provided). We will create individual lists of what we will need for our board games (I will be suggesting/showing examples using recycled household materials like packaging etc wherever possible. By the end of this session we will have a design idea. Week 2: The second class we will be creating artwork for the board of our game. We are going to design some of our own Pokémon inspired characters, and consider how they might fit in the game! This might be drawings, a collage of print-outs, paint - whatever medium each learner prefers (and this will have been decided in week 1). We will make our boards look colorful and appealing. Week 3: This session we will design some cards to go with our game. This might feature some of our own Pokémon inspired designs and some questions, clues, forfeits or bonuses. We might make some counters and a dice using a net template. Our games will be really coming together! Week 4: We will finish off our project today! We will use the session to complete any sections that need our attention, and for anyone who has completed everything, there will be an extension task. We will then spend some time showing our creations to the other classmates (if you feel comfortable to do so), and give ourselves a pat on the back for our creations! This class is small and interactive. I will be guiding each learner through the creative process as much as they need. I can't wait to see your learner in my class!

1 or 2 pieces of A3 card (can be from a cardboard or cereal box) Assorted preferred craft supplies, such as, but not limited to: Markers Crayons old magazines Paper scissors Glue Washi tape Stickers Card Polymer Clay (please note all of these items are not essential, and it could be made with card and markers - but additional supplies may make the finished product more decorative)

Hi, I'm Astrid and I am a mum of two, and a teacher based in the United Kingdom. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Nutrition and Dietetics, and I have a Postgraduate degree in teaching Design and Technology. I have worked in schools for over 14 years, and am excited to bring my skills to an online platform.
I love to cook (unless it's dinner - e.v.e.r.y.d.a.y!!), to craft, and my guilty pleasure is gaming! I play Brawl Stars every single day, and I love Roblox (especially Bloxburg!) and Among Us! I am a HUGE Pokémon nerd and love to play Pokémon Go. Expect to see my classes based around these things, because when you love something, it's easy to enthuse others!
I love working with young people and sharing my love of craft & design, textiles, food and gaming, in a fun, engaging and inclusive way. Through seeing the difficulties of my own neurodivergent children in mainstream education, I know first hand of the importance of inclusivity, and strive to make my own lessons both enjoyable and accessible to any learner who wishes to enrol. I like to lead by example, and "make and do" along with the learners, so I am able to cater for a variety of learning styles.
Most of my classes are ongoing, weekly sessions, but these can be also used as one-time classes.
In the aftermath of these difficult times of social distancing, my gaming classes provide a great way for young people to safely connect with their peers and have fun!

Subscription (ongoing) classes are billed weekly on a Sunday and can be cancelled on the learner page at any time in advance. Please feel free to attend my ongoing classes just once, by stopping the subscription after class.
Refunds cannot be offered for missed classes, but I offer a flexible transfer policy. Transfer requests must be made 24 hours in advance, and to a different time slot of the same class. Thank you for supporting these policies, that help me maintain smaller class sizes.리뷰
