In this class learners will have the opportunity to learn: Miss Anna's 3 C's to dating as a young person. Including a variety of life skills related to dating such as: COMFORT - Expressing your comfort levels ✨A variety of ways to effectively communicate what your boundaries are and truly listening to theirs too. CARE - The kinder ways to say, No Way! ✨A variety of ways to tell someone you are not feeling the same way they are. CAUTION - Spidey Senses ✨Using our Spidey senses to figure out if something doesn't feel quite right and learn how to identify “red flag”behaviors.
🥰 Miss Anna has been offering a large variety of Life Skills classes on the Outschool platform. Including Social & Emotional Learning, Play-Based Learning, and babysitting courses as well. Miss Anna is a 5 Star Ace Educator Outschool who has been providing joyful and meaningful class on the platform for over 2 years. She is a seasoned professional educator with over 15 years of teaching and mentorship experience for children ages 3 - 18. 🧑🏫 Miss Anna is a highly engaging and experienced educator and mentor who has taught over 1000 classes on Outschool to more than 4000 students utilizing her own unique play-based learning techniques and strategies developed by working with children in both group settings and one on one settings.
Kiddos are encouraged to bring a paper and pencil to take down any notes they would like to jot down, to help them remember the 3 C's of dating as a young person.
*This class is intended to boost young people’s confidence, knowledge, and social and emotional skills. *There will be no sex education related topics mentioned or covered in anyway during this class. The teacher will not broach the topic of intimacy or sex in this class. *This is a secular class, meaning there will be no mention of what religion or religious guidance of any kind. This class in inclusive to all kinds of kiddos and will be a safe space for kids ask questions related to our specific topics during class or by sending me a private message after class, if they feel more comfortable asking questions after class by email.
