Daily English Language Arts Skills Practiced in this class include but are not limited to:
Learners will make text-to-text, text-to-self, and text-to-world connections. 
Learners will learn about literary elements and work on public speaking skills with learners who share the same interests.

I am certified to teach grades 7-12 (middle and high school level) English/Language Arts in the state of Texas. I also hold a Bachelor's in Maritime Studies (anthropology), with minors in English and Archeology, and a Master's in Education.

세부 내용: Learners will read on their own and complete a worksheet each week. In class, we will spend a few minutes going over any homework questions, then begin our deep dive. Answer sheets will also be provided at the end of each week.

세부 내용: There will be informal assessment during class- this means I will continually assess learners during our conversations. There will also be weekly worksheets that act as assessments and help readers monitor their comprehension.

I always try to meet learners where they are by scaffolding material and providing necessary/helpful supports.
