#academic I will start class by having everyone introduce themselves and share an animal that they think is cute. We will then proceed to learn about ten different animals and why they are dangerous along with facts like where they live, their habitat, whether they are herbivore, carnivore, or omnivore, etc. Each animal will be taught about through a slide show presentation along with a few short videos on a few of them. I will encourage discussion from the kids throughout the class. I don't want to spoil the fun, so I won't share all of the animals we'll be learning about but, a few of them are the Cone Snail, Honey Badger, and the White-Tailed Deer.

I have been a homeschooling mom for more than a decade and have taught other children, formally, in a classroom setting as well. I love to work with elementary-aged students in all subjects, including English, Science, Math, and History.
