In this course, students will be introduced (or reintroduced) to the idea of blending sounds together to make words. We will do this phonologically(with no letters visible) first and then using phonics to read CVC words. CVC words are words created using a consonant, a vowel, and then a consonant. A vowel is A, E, I, O, or U. Examples of CVC words include bug, cat, pig, dog, leg, etc. Some students can say the sounds but may have trouble blending the sounds together to read words. General...
