Crochet basics will be taught in a relaxed, social format where learners are encouraged to share and grow their skills together. They will learn what the various types of tools are, what is needed most and why, different stitches and when to use them, and so much more! Once basic stitches are mastered, learners will be able to start making wearable art or even toys. The possibilities are endless :) Week of 7/17: The History of Crochet Crochet Tools and What They Do How to make a chain stitch bracelet Week of 7/24: Magic Circle How to make a cup coaster Week of 7/31: Magic Circle and single crochet How to make a winter beanie hat Week of 8/7: Chain stitch and double crochet How to make a scarf Week of 8/14: Foundation stitch, half double crochet How to make an ear warmer headband Week of 8/21: Magic circle, chain stitch, and triple crochet How to make a flower Week of 8/28: Foundation stitch and single crochet How to make a cup cozy Week 9/4: Chain stitch and half double crochet How to make a scrunchie No experience or previous knowledge required. Anyone is welcome to get in on the cozy fun!
