Learn to form a variety of shapes using free form crochet. Learners will apply concepts of amigurumi crochet in terms of globes, cones, cylinders, discs and sheets. Shapes will be created and connected to form an animal of the learner's choosing. Learners will design and produce projects using broad concepts of math in crochet, rather than follow a set pattern. 1- design plan and crochet base shapes Learners will apply single crochet stitches to 3D shapes. 2- connect base...
Materials: 1) 100% wool yarn or roving is needed in order to felt this project. Synthetic fibers will NOT work. Amount will depend on size of the finished project. I recommend buying two balls at roughly 8oz each. If you want to do a project with many different colours, it may make more sense to buy one ball and a multi pack of roving. Feel free to message the teacher for specific advice about what to buy for your project idea. 2) A barbed felting needle is needed in the 4th session (they can break during use so having a back-up is a good idea) 3) fabric scraps or old clothing for stuffing 4) crochet hook 4- 7 mm size
