The Gulf of Mexico (where the Texas State Aquarium is located) is a great place to see a sea turtle. 5 of the 7 species of the world's sea turtles live in our area! We will learn all about these sea turtles, and do a fun activity where we match up the sea turtle with what they like to eat. During the program, we will also meet the sea turtles of the Texas State Aquarium via live cameras. Students can then ask our turtle expert instructors all their questions while watching our resident...

Students will be able to name at least 2 different species of sea turtle. Students will be able to pair a sea turtle with their chosen food. Students can explain a way they can help sea turtles at home.
Students will be using scissors. If you are uncomfortable having your child use scissors without in-person supervision, please cut out the pictures on the handout with your child prior to the class.
