Join me in this ongoing course where we work together to sharpen our creative writing skills. Each class will focus on a different type of creative writing. These include: free verse poetry, rhyming poetry, structured poetry, scripts, journals, blogs, letters, story telling, imagery writing, & more! This class will have the following general format: Creative Writing Prompt & Share Time (15 Minutes) English Mini Lesson (10 Minutes) Focus story/poem discussion (20 minutes) Writing Game (10...
By the end of each class, students will learn at least one writing tip/lesson that they can use in their creative writing in the future. They will also learn how to share writing aloud and add to their writing portfolio.
