In this relaxed weekly mystery writing class, kids will learn how each element of a mystery story fits together. After each element, children can share their work with me for review. I may add comments or corrections. Parents may send a snapshot of their child's work after each class.
NOTE:There will be no class Friday Nov 24th due to the holiday

Week 1- I will introduce the basics of mystery writing and help students write and develop 2-3 settings for their story. Kids will create 2-3 fun characters that will be a part of their story creating traits unique to each person.
Week 2-students will begin their stories using the characters they have created.
Week 3-We will discuss how to create or find problems for the characters to solve. Each child will create their own problem and solution.
Week 4- Students will polish their stories and share them with the class if they feel comfortable.
