Do you LOVE when the leaves start to change and the air gets chilly? How about when football season starts and you can go apple picking at the orchard? If you answered yes to either of these questions, you're in the right place! During this 35 minute class meeting, students will first talk about their favorite activities to do when leaves start falling down. They will listen to a read aloud story called When Autumn Falls by Kelli Nidey (see description below) and then create a tape-resist fall tree painting! Book Description: From the Inside Flap As September fades, a new season begins. Leaves and temperatures tumble. And, as autumn falls, new colors and smells gradually replace the heat and intensity that was summer. Autumn means the beginning of something new and crisp and familiar.

I'm Caroline and I'm a 2nd grade teacher in Baltimore County, MD! I graduated from Stevenson University in 2019 with my Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education. I also have a Master's Degree in Educational Technology.
