용기 사랑하는 마음: 나니아를 통한 일기 쓰기, 은의자

In this book club, we will read The Silver Chair, an exciting adventure story by C.S. Lewis. (Knowledge of the other Narnia books could be useful, but is not necessary.) We will discuss the story together, and then journal from prompts inspired by the chapters. We will explore how the themes in the book relate to our own lives: this can be a means of processing what is going on in our own current adventures.

Before each meeting, book club members will be expected to read two chapters of the book. During each meeting, we will recap what happened in those chapters, and I will facilitate a discussion about those chapters and what we've read so far in the book as a whole. Students will then have time set aside for journaling. At the end of class, those who wish to share all or part of their journal entries may do so. Students who do not wish to write are encouraged to create a visual journal instead, by drawing or painting something inspired by the chapters and the group discussion. 

This book club will be fun for students of varying ages, and a source of social interaction and encouragement from their peers. I am an enthusiastic, patient, and kind teacher, and I will ensure that the book club is a safe space for students to share their ideas.
