Students will be following along simple videos to make a snack 2 times a week for 4 weeks. There will also be some additional videos about kitchen rules, table manners, and how to use different appliances in the kitchen. This class will not use an oven, but will use a microwave, toaster, freezer, and blender/food processor. Students will also be using a butter knife to cut soft foods and to spread. Each week students will watch and follow along with videos and then answer the reflection questions in the classroom via video or written. The last week students will create their own snack and share the recipe in the classroom through a picture, words, or photograph.
