I can develop a model of food webs, showing how energy and matter moves through each level from the sun, to tertiary consumers. This model accurately accounts for the flow of energy at each level, and includes the 10% rule.  

I can develop a model of a wave, correctly showing the parts of a wave, including wavelength, crest, trough, frequency, and amplitude. 

When given mathematical representations of waves, I can show the relationship between the amplitude of a standard repeating wave and how much energy it has.  

I can develop a presentation with my group explaining how light and radio waves can be used in fiber optic cables or air to transmit information.  This presentation includes examples from my groups’ own experimentation, as well as at least one example from our research.
