껍질에서 나오다 - 수줍은 10대를 위한 소셜 그룹

This is a class for youths who are shy or have trouble connecting with their peers. I run social groups for autistic children and I have had parents reach out asking me to do one for kids who are shy as well. 

Students will participate in conversations with their peers. I will encourage them to talk about their special interests and get to know one another. I will also provide games for the children to play together and help guide their conversation when needed. 


This is a great way for children to make friends and build social skills. Students with all levels of verbal ability are welcome but students who do not a have a way to communicate over video chat will likely not get much from the group.  If you have any concerns please contact me and I will try my best to make sure your child can participate in whatever form of communication they use. 

Class is student lead and each week will look different but here is a basic outline.

Students will introduce themselves and say their name, age and something they are interested in or enjoy doing. 

Each student will have a chance to tell us what they have been doing lately and share anything they would like to share. 

I will pose a fun question such as "if you could go anywhere in the world where would it be?" Or what "fictional character would you be best friends with and why?" Or we will play a game like 20 questions, would you rather, or two truths and a lie."
