만화 수학: 곱셈과 나눗셈을 배우고 적용하기

Learning to do well in math is good for us.  We use it in our everyday lives, and it helps us with our reasoning abilities.  Math, for this class, is about solving problems in a particular situation.  We will be completing two pages of math during this hour.  Each page begins with a four-frame comic with funny characters and a whimsical point of view.  The comics and the companion problems explore math topics.  For these two pages we will be working on multiplication and division facts.  One of the purposes in doing math problems in this way is to make math a fun and interesting part of our world.  At the same time, we will use basic problem solving, critical thinking, and reasoning skills.

Besides the introductory comic-strip, each page has 5 math problems with increasing difficulty, and a super challenge problem at the bottom.
